people shape their ideas about the world using all of the above. some sources are more reliable than others such as parents and teachers. relying on media can often lead to distorted ideas about the world.
all of these things influence our ideas but a mixture of all of these makes our 'own idea'. by combining information from all and learning new material we form our own ideas about the world
I agree with Hannah. Media always shapes a story to suit the reality they want you to believe. they shape situations to make them more interesting and more intriguing for the intended audience. reliable sources are always hard to find as everyone shapes ideas through their own opinions, views, personalities and beliefs which would all consequently be passed on to other people in their life.
I agree, all of the above shape our ideas about the world, media seems to influence us a great deal more than teachers and media, but it all depends on the individual
All the things listed influence how we view the world. Our parents and family influence our characteristics and ways in which we live, therefore changing the world we live in. Media, movies, magazines etc show us the different lives people live and the views they have, which will influence how we view the world as we see different views. It also causes us to see the different aspects of the world; poverty, high class lives, disasters, miracles. These all change our views of the world and what ideas we have of it.
